Box Score Manchester, N.H – Junior forward Brittany Smith scored in the second period on Saturday as the Sacred Heart women's hockey (4-5-0) team lost to Saint Anselm 4-1.

(4-1-0) opened the scoring at 2:45 in the first period on a goal by
Martha Findley. The Pioneers responded in the second period after 3:11 of play, with
Olivia Bryant finding Smith to tie the score 1-1. Saint Anselm took a 2-1 lead in the third period at 7:45 on a goal from Sam
McNamara.
Saint Anselm were able to extend there lead in the third period with another two goals. Kaitlyn Spillane & Alex Starzyk combined to assist Alison Butler to take the score to 3-1 at 4:49 with Starzyk picking up her third assist of the game finding Amanda Conger for Saint Anselm and the game's final goal at 19:54
The Pioneers are back in action Friday November 18 when they host Wesleyan at 7:00 pm.
