(Worcester, MA) – The Sacred Heart Women's Ice Hockey team lost 8-2 against the Holy Cross Crusaders Saturday afternoon.

Sarah Delaney and Natasha Klinoff both scored special team goals for the Pioneers.  Delaney scored on the man-advantage to tie the game at 7:15 of the first, with an assist going to Nicole Palazzo.  However, the Crusaders reeled four unanswered goals, including three in the second period.  Klinoff scored shorthanded at 5:25 of the third, with Palazzo picking up another assist, however Holy Cross answered with a couple more goals to close out the game.

Stacey Hotchkins had two goals and an assist for the Crusaders.

Alexius Schutt made 40 saves in the first two periods, and Alexis Molotky stopped 10 shots in third-period relief.
