Sloan joins the Pioneers after serving as the founder and head coach of the Knoxville Girl's Wrestling Club. Outside wrestling, Sloan worked as a flexologist for Stretchlab and a physical therapy tech for Strive Physical Therapy.

Before coaching, Sloan was a four-year Campbellsville University women's wrestling team member and was a four-time TSSAA State Champion. At Campbellsville, she served as team captain and was a 2022 NAIA National Champion. Sloan also was a 2019 Junior Pan American Champion.
