Erin Brown joined Sacred Heart University in March 2025 as a Student-Athlete Support Services Coordinator. In this role, she provides academic support to student-athletes, focusing on time management, organizational skills, study hall requirements, academic advising, class registration, and progress toward degree completion.

Before joining Sacred Heart, Erin worked as a Graduate Intern Academic Coach in Central Connecticut State University’s Learning Center from 2023 to 2025. She provided individualized coaching on study skills, time management, and goal setting for 50-60 students per semester, led academic support groups and workshops, and collaborated with campus resources to assist first-generation and at-risk students. She also closely monitored academic progress, particularly for student-athletes and CASA participants.

From 2022 to 2023, Erin served as an Athletic Communications/Media Studies Graduate Intern at CCSU, where she managed media relations and daily operations for men's and women's cross country, women's soccer, women's basketball, men's and women's indoor and outdoor track, and softball. Her responsibilities included writing and editing news releases, maintaining team rosters and schedules, overseeing social media content and game recaps, as well as managing statistics and records.

Additionally, Erin was a volunteer assistant coach for CCSU’s swimming and diving team from 2021 to 2024, helping foster a positive and motivating environment for student-athletes. She played a role in the team’s success, including securing the 2023 Northeast Conference Championship.

A former Division I student-athlete, Erin swam for CCSU from 2017 to 2021, serving as the lone captain of the 2020-21 season. She was a four-time Northeast Conference Academic Honor Roll member and remains in CCSU’s all-time top 10 performances in the 200-yard backstroke and 100-yard butterfly. She was also an active member of the university’s Student-Athlete Advisory Committee.

Erin earned her Bachelor of Arts in Graphic Design from CCSU in May 2021 and will receive her Master of Science in Counseling with a specialization in Student Development in Higher Education in May 2025.
