Catherine “Kate” Engel joined the Sacred Heart University women’s hockey team as the program’s Director of Hockey Operations in September 2024.
Engel serves as the liaison for day-to-day operations for the program as well as serving as a vital asset to the team’s players and coaching staff. A 2023 graduate of Saint Joseph’s University, Engel played club hockey during her collegiate days as a goaltender and was active in her university community serving as an Event Coordinator and Promotions Manager for other organizations on campus.
Engel graduated with a bachelor’s degree from SJU in communications and is originally from Basking Ridge, N.J.
