Chris Lyver

Chris Lyver who was recently promoted to associate athletic trainer now enters his ninth season at Sacred Heart University. His primary sport assignments include women’s basketball, field hockey and cheer. He has previously worked with men’s wresting and baseball. 

Lyver's other responsibilities include summer camp coordinator, inventory, and maintenance and upkeep for all athletic training systems. Lyver is a member of National Athletic Training Association, and he maintains a Connecticut state Athletic Training license and has been a BOC certified Athletic Trainer since 2008.

Prior to Sacred Heart, Lyver had a stint at University of Pittsburgh Medical Center, Colgate University, and graduate school at Robert Morris University working primarily with football and women’s basketball at the respected university. He graduate from RMU in 2011 with a master’s degree in sports management and Endicott College in 2008 with a Bachelor of Science in athletic training. 

Chris, who is originally from Cape Cod, Mass., now resides in Monroe, Conn., with his wife, Kate and dog, Trixie.Â
