Kaysee Talcik officially joined the Pioneers staff in September of 2021. Talcik enters her third year at Sacred Heart University in 2024 as the Pioneers’ pitching coach after a successful playing career as an ace.

Talcik enjoyed an impressive collegiate playing career at the University of Massachusetts Lowell. Over her career, she started 85 of 110 games. She ranks second on the program’s all-time record list with 108 appearances in the circle for a total of 561.2 innings. She compiled a 33-51 overall record as well as a career ERA of 3.27. During her four years, she threw 58 complete games, added nine shut outs, three saves and totaled 317 strikeouts which ranks her fourth all-time.

As a freshman in 2016, Talcik was named to the America East All-Rookie team. As a junior, in 2018, she was a First Team All-Conference selection, as well as a two-time member of the All-Championship Team. Talcik also left her mark as a River Hawk by throwing UMass Lowell's first ever perfect game that led to a 4-0 victory against Stony Brook on April 27, 2019.

Outside of her success wearing the River Hawk uniform, Talcik also pitched in the World Cup of Softball for Team Puerto Rico in 2017 and was a member of the historic Stratford Brakettes from 2017 to 2021.
