2013: NEC Defensive Player Of The Week (April 1) … Appeared in 13 games, making 12 starts … Made 17 saves in his first start at Sacred Heart against Holy Cross on March 2 … Also had 17 saves at Hartford on March 20 … Earned NEC Defensive Player of the Week honors after holding Mount St. Mary’s to five goals with 14 saves … Made 16 saves in the 13-12 triple-overtime loss to Quinnipiac … Had 10 saves in Sacred Heart’s 14-13 win over Robert Morris on April 20.
Prior to Sacred Heart: Started four seasons for Bay Shore High School under coaches Tim Cox and Mike Tierney ... as a senior, the goalie earned all-division and all-county honors in leading the Marauders to an 11-6 record and a league championship … as a junior, was named all-division and all-country and picked as the team’s most valuable player … as a freshman, named all-division in his first varsity season on a league-championship squad … also wrestled for four years and played two seasons of varsity football … Transferred to SHU from Jacksonville, where he was a member of the lacrosse team for the 2012 season.
