Ryan Genest has been SHU's Head Equipment Manager since 2021, and it's his second stint with the Pioneers.
Genest, who served as assistant equipment manager at SHU from 2016 to 2018 in his first job, returned after three-year run at the University of Hartford. He was Assistant AD for Equipment Services before transitioning to Assistant AD for Business and Facilities in 2020 at Hartford.
He has a pair of degrees from Southern Connecticut State University. He earned his bachelor's in 2013 and his master's in 2016.
Genest and his wife, Anne Marie, have a son, Logan, and a daughter, Paige, and live in Cheshire.
