Jonathan Rauch enters his second year at Sacred Heart University, first year with Division 1 sports, as an Athletic Trainer. His primary sports responsibilities are football, baseball, and sprinters and jumpers with track and field.Â
Rauch spent his first year at Sacred Heart University with the Club Sports Department as an Athletic Trainer. Working with the football, men’s basketball and men’s lacrosse teams. Before coming to SHU, he spent two years as the Head Athletic Trainer at Torrington High School in Torrington, Conn.Â
Rauch received his undergraduate degree from King’s College in 2014, where he also played football.Â
Rauch received his Masters’ Degree from A.T. Still University in 2020, where he worked at two of the largest High Schools in Arizona, Highland and Chaparral High School. During this time, he completed his thesis on the Effects of Sports Vision Training on Athletic Performance.Â
Rauch is originally from Southington, Conn., and is excited to start a new career in Fairfield and be a part of the Sacred Heart Family.Â
