DeMarcus White

Recruiting Areas - Eastern MD, Prince George’s County

White enters his second season as the Pioneers Safeties Coach after serving in the same capacity during the 2024 football season. He works primarily with the safeties. 

With 18 years of college coaching experience White brings a wealth of knowledge and guidance to the Pioneers defense. 

As a student athlete at Iona College, he helped the team win its first MAAC Championship in 2007. White was a first team All-MAAC wide receiver who was invited to the Washington Redskins Pre-Season camp. 

White is a native of Prince Georges County, Maryland. 

BEFORE SHU:
McDaniel College
  • Served as the Head Coach and Defensive Coordinator at McDaniel
  • Prior to being promoted, he served as the Defensive Coordinator
  • Developed top ranked Centennial Conference defensive units
  • Tutoring 11 All Conference performers, three All-Region players, and a Centennial Conference Sportsmanship Winner   
Rutgers University 
  • Served as the Defensive Backs Assistant Coach
ASA
  • Was the Defensive Coordinator and prior to that, he coached the defensive backs
  • Under his guidance the unit saw two #1 ranked defenses, six All-Americans, 26 All-Conference Performers and a Triumphant JC Player of the Year
Iona
  • Started his college coaching career as the wide receivers coach at his alma mater
