High School - Harrington was an all-conference performer on the gridiron and won the Dan Gleason Outstanding Lineman Award as well as being named Merrimack Valley Defensive Player of the Year. He recorded over 100 tackles and seven sacks in his senior year. Harrington played at Chelmsford High School under Head Coach Bruce Rich and served as captain of both the football and basketball teams.
