Coach Hajdasz joined SHU as the Head Coach of the Equestrian program in September 2010.

In 2019, Hajdasz coached the Hunt Seat team to a 10th place finish at the IHSA National Championship, its first appearance as a team in program history. Senior Cariann Johnson also had a standout season, placing 7th in the Cacchione Cup final and competing at the inaugural IHSA Metropolitan Equitation Invitational at the Longines Masters of New York.

The 2020 season marked the seventh time the Hunt Seat program has won the IHSA Zone I Region 5 Team Championship, and the fourth year in a row. In addition to Johnson, Hajdasz has coached two other Pioneers to the Cacchione Cup final, including a 9th place finish in 2015. The Pioneers have made an appearance at the National Championship with individual qualifiers for six of eight seasons under Hajdasz.

Hajdasz has over 10 years of experience as the Interscholastic Equestrian Association (IEA) coach at Windcrest Farm in Hebron, CT. She coached students to a 4th and 11th place finish at the IEA National Championship in Conyers, GA in 2010. She also led students to a top 10 finish in the Marshall & Sterling League Final, the 2009 Rhode Island Mini-Medal Championship and Pony Medal Reserve Championship.

Hajdasz has 26 years of teaching experience, concentrating in both hunt seat equitation and horsemanship. She was both an assistant trainer and assistant stable manager at Windcrest Farm from 1996 to 2001. From 2001 to 2003, she was the head trainer and stable manager at Legend Farm in East Windsor. From 2003 to 2010 she was the head trainer of her own business, PonyTails, in Amston, CT. Hajdasz also spent four years as a trainer at Hunters Run Stables in Glastonbury from 2006 to 2010.

Hajdasz competed as a junior, adult and professional in equitation, hunters and jumpers and was the owner and trainer of the 1998 CHJA Children's Medal Champion. She completed dressage training with Marina Genn of European Sport Horses and drove singles and pairs for Allegra Farms in Colchester, CT. She also completed an apprenticeship for Bob Brooks of Storybook Stables.
