Biography

2017:

  • Led the EIVA, and ranked 6th in the NCAA in blocks per set with 1.19
  • Finished the season with 105 total blocks, earning him the #2 spot in the Sacred Heart record book for single season performance
  • Posted a Career high 10 total blocks against George Mason on Apr. 1st
  • Finished the season with a .340 hitting percentage, which led the Pioneers, and landed him second in the EIVA
  • Named EIVA Defensive Player of the Week on Feb 13th. 

2016:

  • Led SHU and ranked fifth in the EIVA with an average of 0.94 blocks per set
  • Also led the Pioneers with a .238 hitting percentage and was fourth at 1.40 kills per set
  • Season-highs in kills and blocks came in the final match of the season against Princeton on April 16 when racked up 11 and eight, respectively
  • Hit a season-best (minimum five kills) .714 twice; in a sweep of Saint Francis U on February 12 and then in a sweep of Harvard on March 26

2015:

  • Redshirted his freshman season

Before SHU:

  • All-League his junior year at Carlsbad High School
  • Team captain his senior year
  • Selected to play in the San Diego County All-Star match
  • Union Tribune All-Academic Team for volleyball and basketball
