High School -  Ahmad played football and basketball, and ran track. He was named All-Conference in football, and All-Conference and All-Country for track.

Personal - Born on May 15, 1989. His parents are Kyle and Denise Covington. He has two siblings, Raheem and Aneesah. He is Majoring in General Studies. He likes all the Philadelphia sports teams and his favorite athlete is Asante Samuel. His favorite movie is The Matrix. His likes seafood and in his spare time enjoys reading, writing, and learning.
