NORTHRIDGE, Cali. – The Sacred Heart men's volleyball team fell to CSUN, 3-0, on Monday night in California for game one of four of the Pios' Cali spring break stint.
Aleksa Mandic led SHU with 12 kills and five aces.

How It Happened:
The Pioneers put up a good fight in set one just falling by two, 25-23. Back-to-back kills from
Petr Beranek and
Aaron Johnson helped SHU get an early one-point lead. CSUN then when on a 10-3 run to take a six-point lead.
Aleksa Mandic brought SHU within three with back-to-back kills and an ace. The Pioneers were unable to regain their lead ultimately falling.
The Metadors took an early six-point lead in the second. Mandic brought SHU within two with a kill and three straight aces. CSUN went on a 7-1 run that the Pios were not able to come back from ultimately falling 25-16.
CSUN dominated the majority of the third set maintaining its lead throughout taking the game in set three 25-17.
The Pioneers will face UC San Diego on Wednesday, March 5, at 7:00 p.m.
