FAIRFIELD, Conn. – The Sacred Heart University men's volleyball team dropped game two of Eastern Intercollegiate Volleyball Association (EIVA) play to Princeton, 3-0, Saturday afternoon.
Alec Niemczyk led the Pioneers offensively with nine kills

How it Happened:
Princeton took an early five-point lead in the first set.
Alec Niemczyk battled for the Pios with four kills, but SHU was unable to come within three the rest of the match falling 25-16.
Things started off differently in the second set as SHU had an early lead. The Tigers tied things up with a kill from Nyherowo Omene. After being tied up at 10, Princeton secured a 7-0 run that the Pios were unable to battle through falling 25-17.
After being down 14-7 in the third, the Pioneers battled out of the hole with back-to-back kills from Niemczyk and back-to-back aces from
Jaron Popp to come within three points. The Tigers then secured a 6-2 insurance run to take the match 25-15.
