Box Score TRUMBULL, Conn. - It was Senior Day for the Sacred Heart men's tennis team, and the four members of the Class of 2025 were nearly celebrated with a thrilling victory. Instead, the Pioneers dropped a hard-fought 4-3 decision to Colgate at the Tennis Club of Trumbull. 
 
The four members of the Class of 2025 honored were Darius Eftekhar, Antoine Hernandez, Charlie Levinson and Matyas Vencl. 
 
The doubles point was highly contested. Vencl and Enrique Laennec-Baffrey posted a 6-1 win at No. 1. Colgate won at No. 3 and took the No. 2 match in a tiebreaker to earn the first point. 
 
In singles, Vencl was a 7-6, 6-0 winner at No. 1. The Pioneers also got straight-set victories from Laennec-Baffrey at No. 2 and Lucca Lafrance at No. 5. 
 
Colgate improved to 9-8 with the victory. SHU is 4-8
