CAMBRIDGE, Mass. - The Sacred Heart University men's volleyball team fell 3-0 on Saturday evening to Eastern Intercollegiate Volleyball Association (EIVA) Harvard on the road in league play in Cambridge, Mass.

HOW IT HAPPENED
The Crimson stormed out to an early 6-2 lead in the first set to force a quick SHU timeout. The Pioneers rallied to get within two points, 9-7, but Harvard answered with a 7-3 run to force another Sacred Heart timeout at 16-10. The Crimson, who hit .417 in the set, put the finishing touches on a 25-17 win by trading points to close the frame.
A 10-1 start by Harvard in the second doomed the Pioneers in a 25-9 setback.
Ken Naples led the way for the Pioneers in the second with a pair of kills.
Harvard secured the sweep with a 25-15 win in the third set. The Crimson got off to a blazing start for the second straight frame, scoring eight of the first nine points. A 7-3 run from there forced SHU's first timeout at 15-4. The Pioneers got within eight on multiple occasions but ended up suffering the 10-point defeat to seal the match.
