FAIRFIELD, Conn. — The Sacred Heart University men's soccer team has claimed the No. 10 spot in this week's United Soccer Coaches Division I East Regional Rankings, marking the program's first regional ranking of the season.

The Pioneers continue their unbeaten run in Metro Atlantic Athletic Conference (MAAC) play, posting a 6-0-1 record. Sacred Heart's success has been driven by standout performances from Danny Istambouli, David Garcia Gallego, and Ivan Morcillo, along with key results against some of the conference's top opponents.

The climb into the regional top 10 reflects the team's growth, depth, and consistency under head coach Anthony Anzevui, as the Pioneers push toward postseason contention in the final stretch of the regular season.

Sacred Heart returns to action on October 29 at 6 p.m., hosting Iona at Park Ave Field.
