| Box Score 3 WESTPOINT, N.Y. – The Sacred Heart University men's tennis team traveled to West Point over the weekend to compete in a three-day competition. The team faced Fairfield, Hofstra, Stonehill, Lehigh, Holy Cross, and Army.
 
Sophomore Enrique Laennec-Baffrey led the Pioneers, gathering four wins over the weekend. At No. 2 singles, Laennec-Baffrey defeated Stonehill's Jacob Kretting 6-3, 6-4. Partnered up with Antoine Hernandez, the two defeated Fairfield at No.1 doubles 6-4. His winning streak continued against Holy Cross at No. 1 singles, defeating his opponent 6-4, 6-4. Laennec-Baffrey partnered up with Charlie Levinson to secure his fourth with at No. 1 doubles against the Black Knights, securing the 6-2 victory.
 
First-year Lucca Lafrance had a good start to his college career, tabbing three wins for the Pios. In singles play, Lafrance secured wins at No. 7 against Stonehill and No. 6 against Lehigh with scores of 8-6 and 6-4, 6-0, respectively. Partnered with Percy Meehan, the pair defeated Fairfield at No. 3 6-4.
 
The Pioneers travel across town this weekend (Sept. 20-22) to compete in the Fairfield Hidden Duals.
