ADRIAN, Michigan – Facing tough competition at the Adrian Dual Tournament, the Sacred Heart University women's wrestling team held its own against No. 3 North Central College, No. 1 King University, No. 4 McKendree University, and Northern Michigan. 
 
Despite the Pioneers starting the day with three straight losses to three nationally ranked Division I programs—North Central, King, and McKendree—SHU closed out the afternoon on a high note with a close 27-21 win over Northern Michigan behind six winners at 103 lbs, 110 lbs, 117 lbs, 138 lbs, 160 lbs, and 207 lbs.  
 
Of Note:

• Madeline Hodges highlighted the day for the Pioneers as the Midlothian, Texas native finished with an overall record of 4-0 in her weight class.
• In the 180-pound weight class, Madison Sandquist picked up a pair of wins against King's Alexa Garcia and McKendree's Archer Jones.
