The Pioneers edged the Stags in the first half as they outshot them 11-2 and then 9-2 in the second half.
The Stags' lone goal came in the 78
th minute as Devin Zachry shot the ball in the bottom right corner of the net and met the hand of
Andrew Hammersley but was powerful enough to deflect into the top left of the net.
Hammersley secured three saves.
