Morgan O'Reilly scored a career-high seven goals to lead the Sacred Heart men's lacrosse team's third consecutive victory, 13-11 victory over Quinnipiac on Wednesday evening in Metro Atlantic Athletic Conference (MAAC) action.Â

After the Bobcats got on the board first, SHU scored back-to-back goals from O'Reilly and
Will Moulton to take a 2-1 lead. Quinnipiac added one more to tie it 2-2, but Moreschi answered at 1:44 to take a 3-2 advantage after the first quarter.Â
The Bobcats opened the second with a goal at 13:30. Sacred Heart responded with four straight goals, including a pair from Morgan, giving SHU a 7-3 lead. Quinnipiac added one more for a halftime score of 7-4.Â
Quinnipiac outscored the Pioneers in the third 2-1, but SHU still held a 9-6 lead after the third quarter.Â
In a dramatic fourth quarter, Quinnipiac cut the deficit to one, 9-8. O'Reilly added one more to extend SHU's lead 10-8, but the Bobcats scored back-to-back goals to tie the game 10-10.Â
Sacred Heart secured the win with three straight goals to take a 13-10 lead. The Bobcats added one more for the 13-11 final.Â
