Lefteri Apostolou won the first singles match in straight sets at No. 1. It also marked 25
th career victory for the Barquisimeto, Venezuela native.. Coast Guard tallied the next two to tie the match at two-all.
The Pioneers clinched the next three to earn their seventh win of the season.
With the victory, SHU is now on a three-game win streak for the first time since 2013.
Up next, the Pioneers host NEC foe FDU on Saturday at 7:45 p.m.
