FAIRFIELD, Conn.- The Sacred Heart University men's basketball team will play its final home game of the regular season in Northeast Conference action against St. Francis Brooklyn on Thursday, February 23rd, at 7:00 PM in the Pitt Center. The Pioneers are 14-15 overall this season and 7-7 in conference play, while the Terriers are 13-14 overall and 6-8 in the NEC. Sacred Heart will honor its two senior student managers before the game.

Opening Tip:
- Sacred Heart and St. Francis meet for the second time this season in Northeast Conference action. The Pioneers lost 82-79 on the road on January 14th. Nico Galette led the team with 17 points and five players scored in double figures in the loss.
- SHU is coming off a home loss to Merrimack, 67-55, on Saturday. In the loss, Bryce Johnson recorded his 10th double-double of the season as he and Joey Reilly each scored 11 points to lead the Pioneers.
- Galette has scored in double figures in every game but two this season (Merrimack), as he leads the team with 16.0 points per game. Reilly is second on the team in scoring (11.4), and Raheem Solomon is third (10.8).
- Johnson has 10 double-doubles this season, Galette has four, and Tanner Thomas has one. Johnson leads the team in rebounds, 8.2 per game, and Galette is second with 6.9.
- Johnson leads the NEC in defensive rebounds with 185 and is fourth overall in the NEC in re-bounds with 238, Galette is seventh overall with 201.
- Kenneth Womack, a starter on the SHU football team, has been coming in off the bench for SHU basketball this season, averaging 13.4 minutes per game. He scored a career-high 15 points against FDU on 2/16.
- This season, Galette earned NEC Player of the Week once and has been an nine-time Prime Performer.
- Head Coach Anthony Latina is in his 10th season as the head coach of Sacred Heart.
