EASTON, Pa.- The Sacred Heart University men's lacrosse team fell 15-8 on the road at Lafayette on Saturday afternoon. Junior
Jake Garb led the way for the Pioneers with three points in the loss.

Of Note:
Lafayette had a strong first quarter and held the Pioneers to just two goals, coming from Spooner and Garb. Garb's goal at 4:41 cut the Pioneers deficit to two, 4-2. Lafayette scored the final pair of goals in the opening frame to hold a 6-2 lead.
In a low-scoring second quarter, Ward got the lone goal for the Pioneers off a man-up opportunity to open the second, as SHU trailed 6-3. The Leopards scored the following two goals to take an 8-3 lead at halftime.
Lafayette outscored Sacred Heart 5-3 in the third to take a 13-7 lead.
Garb scored his second of the day to open the fourth quarter, and
Sal Miccio put away his lone goal of the game as the Pioneers trailed 14-8. The Leopards scored once more for the 15-8 final.
