TRUMBULL, Conn.— The Sacred Heart University women's tennis improved its team record to 4-1 as it topped Lafayette, 6-1, in non-conference action on Sunday.
 
The Pioneers secured the opening point in doubles before dominating the first five single matches, winning four of them in straight sets.
 
Vitalina Golod, Katsiaryna Starastsenka and Ciara O'Toole picked up their fourth dual victory of the season.
 
Up next, Sacred Heart hosts Merrimack for a conference match on Sunday at 5:30 p.m.
