Jessica Mannetti earned her 100
th Northeast Conference win as the Pioneers handed first-place FDU its first league loss of the season with a 71-62 home win on Saturday.

Sierra Johnson drained a three that sparked an 8-0 run to give Sacred Heart the 54-48 lead.
FDU responded with eight unanswered points, including back-to-back triples to get back in front, 56-54, with 6:12 left.

Kelsey Wood posted back-to-back layups to put the Pioneers back in the lead for good. Sacred Heart was able to hold on to take the victory as they outscored FDU 25-14 in the fourth quarter.
Both teams struggled with scoring in the beginning, only making three from the field in the first quarter. Sacred Heart made adjustments along the way, going from tallying 25 points in the first half to 46 in the second.
The Pioneers had the advantage from the free-throw line with 17-of-22 (77.3%) while the Knights were 7-of-10 (70.0%). Sacred Heart also outscored FDU 40-24 in the paint.
Mannetti earns her 100
th conference win at the helm, moving her league record to 100-68 and overall record to 135-143.
