Sacred Heart stumbled in the first set, but gained some momentum late in the frame that it used to start the second stanza up 5-1.

SHU let High Point back into the game and the Panthers went up 15-9. The Pioneers clawed back within 22-20 thanks to a 4-0 run that included a pair of Reghan Palanchi kills, but HPU was able to regroup to take a 2-0 lead in the match.

Another fast start was not relinquished in set three as it was SHU to finished strong. Tied 20-20, rookie Brooke Jeffrey started a 4-0 run with a kill and partnered with Kate Anderson for a block.

Trying to tie the match at two sets a piece, SHU pulled within 20-18 in the fourth set thanks to Jasmine Roger's 11thkill. Unfortunately, High Point ended the match with a 5-0 run.

The Panthers bested SHU in nearly every phase of the game. HPU had more kills (77-52), digs (81-69) and blocks (14-5).

The 11 winners are a season-best for Rogers, who just missed a double-double with nine digs. Camryn Luginbuhl followed with 10 kills.
