- SHU jumped out to a 2-0 lead in the top of the first inning off a two-run home run by Grace Saad scoring in Emily Carroll.
- SFU countered with a pair of runs including an RBI single in the bottom of the third inning to even the score at 2-2.
- The Red Flash then tallied four runs in the bottom of the fourth inning which included a pair of RBI doubles to give SFU a 6-2 lead. Â
- SFU added four more runs in the bottom of the fifth inning to secure the 10-2 victory.
