Michael Hernandez's single to shortstop in the opening inning.
One frame later, Fairfield's solo home run out of centerfield knotted the game a one apiece.
In the bottom of the third, the home team snapped the tie as two Stags crossed home off an error by the catcher.
The deficit narrowed by one as Donnelly's single to left field brought home
Tyler Galletti in the fourth inning. Donnelly hit two for four with one run scored and brought home one Pioneer.
Jack Kramer opened the game with three-straight retired. The right-hander put in five innings of work and struck out five batters. The bullpen combined for eight strikeouts.
The Red & White outhit the Stags 8-2 and left eight on base as Fairfield stranded seven.
