FAIRFIELD, Conn.- The Sacred Heart University men's ice hockey team concludes the regular season with a home-and-home series against Army West Point starting Friday at 6:05 p.m. at Webster Bank Arena.

Scouting The Black Knights... Army West Point enters this week's series with a 14-14-3 overall record and a 12-10-2 Atlantic Hockey record. They are coming off a two-game sweep of Holy Cross as they won the first game 2-1 and prevailed the following day 3-1. They are led on offense by Colin Bilek who leads the team in points with 27 and in assists with 17. In net, the Black Knights are led by Gavin Abric who tallies a GAA of 2.25, save percentage of .931 and a record of 13-11-3.
Don't Sleep on Magera....Senior
Austin Magera has been a strong offensive presence for the Pioneers registering nine goals with 14 assists for 23 points. He's tallied a total of seven multi-point games which leads the Pioneers. In the teams' series at Canisius he tallied one goal for his ninth of the year.
Holy Penalty Kill...The Pioneers are one of the top teams in Atlantic Hockey in penalty-killing percentage registering a percentage of 83.70%. They sit in second behind Army West Point whose penalty kill sits at 86.20%.
Jaws Chomping on Goals... Sophomore
John Jaworski has tallied a career-high eight goals this season. The Grinnell, Iowa native has tallied a goal in three of the last five games he has played in this season. He currently sits tied for third on the team in goals.
Thank You Seniors!.... This Friday, the Pioneers will honor the 11 seniors which include the six seniors and five graduate students. This season the two classes have registered a combined 100 points with 35 goals and 65 assists. Leading the charge among the two classes has been senior
