- Quinnipiac jumped on the scoreboard early with three runs in the first inning off a home-run, passed ball and single to center to give the Bobcats a 3-0 lead.
- Sophomore Emily Carroll narrowed the Bobcat lead in the bottom of the inning with an RBI single to center field scoring in Grace Saad to cut the score to 3-1.
- Quinnipiac answered with an RBI double to left center field in the top of the fourth to take the 4-1 victory.
