- The Pioneers jumped out to an early 1-0 lead four minutes in the first period off a goal by junior Braeden Tuck off assists by Neil Shea and Andrius-Kulbis Marino.
- In the second period, senior Austin Magera tallied his second power-play goal of the season 8:07 into the period to give the Pioneers a commanding 2-0 lead.
- Bentley attempted a comeback in the third as Danny Pearson scored on the Falcon power-play 1:05 into the period to narrow the SHU lead to 2-1.
- In the closing minutes of the game, first-year Conner Hutchison secured the 3-1 victory for the Pioneers scoring his third goal of the season.
- Shea upped his point streak to three straight games with his assist.
- Robbins tallied his second highest amount of saves of the season with 32. Â
- This is the Pioneers first two-game sweep of the year.
