HAMDEN, Conn.-- The Sacred Heart University women's rugby team fell 44-5 on the road at Quinnipiac on Saturday afternoon.

Quinnipiac: 3-3

Of Note:

• The Bobcats jumped to a quick lead and never looked back, leading 39-0 through the 62nd minute
• The Pioneers got on the board with a try in the 68th minute to cut the deficit, 39-5
• Quinnipiac scored once more for the 44-5 final.
