Of Note:
Dartmouth did most of its damage on the ground, out-rushing Sacred Heart 282-110. The Big Green's defense caused problems for SHU quarterback
Marquez McCray as he was sacked seven times.
The hosts took the opening kickoff and drove 75 yards for a touchdown, but missed the extra point. SHU was in a position to answer on the ensuing possession, but the Big Green forced a fumble at their own six-yard line.
Sacred Heart got on the board right before the half with a 53-yard drive that was capped by a 39-yard
Sam Renzi field goal. The big play on the drive was a 31-yard pass from McCray to
Naseim Brantley.
Just coming up short of crossing the 100-yard barrier for the second game in a row was running back
Malik Grant as he rumbled for 92 yards on 24 carries.
