JERSEY CITY, N.J.— The Sacred Heart University men's soccer team came up short in a 2-0 loss at Saint Peter's on Saturday afternoon.
The Pioneers are now 0-5-2 while the Peacocks move to 2-4-0.
Anton Moore scored the first goal of the game for Saint Peter's on the assist from Jamie Davis at the 13-
minute mark. The Peacocks extended the lead in the 46
th minute on a goal from Tom Climpson.
Both teams took 12 shots with Sacred Heart outshooting Saint Peter's, 7-4, in the first half. SHU goalie
Justin Siegel saved the ball on six chances.
The Pioneers travel to Iona on Wednesday at 1 p.m.
