Men's Tennis Falls 7-0 Versus Fordham

TRUMBULL, Conn. — The Sacred Heart University men's tennis program dropped 7-0 to non-conference opponent Fordham in first home meet on Sunday. The Pioneers move to 0-3 on the season, while the Rams improve to 1-0.

William Wibmer and Lefteri Apostolou push their matches to the third set, narrowly losing 10-8 and 10-5, respectively. Number three double partners Wibmer and Apostolou won the only match for the Pioneers 6-4, but Fordham took the points with two wins.

With no down time, SHU hosts conference rival Fairleigh Dickinson March 8 at 10 a.m.
