Early in the first quarter, Jayla Davis made a three-pointer to make it a 4-3 game. The Pioneers would only score one point the next three minutes and that allowed the Knights to establish a 14-4 advantage.

The hosts shot 56.7 percent for the half, including 80 percent in the opening 10 minutes.
Sacred Heart didn't fare much better at its end of the court, shooting 31 percent in the first half and 38.5 percent for the game. The Knights hit on 52.7 of their shots for the game and drained a half dozen three-pointers.
Over 50 percent of SHU's scoring came from a pair of players as Adrianne Hagood produced a game-high 16 points and Kelsey Wood tied her season-high with 14.
