Box Score WORCESTER, Mass. – The Sacred Heart University men's lacrosse team took a lead into the fourth quarter at Holy Cross on Saturday, but the Pioneers could not come away with the victory. The Crusaders scored three unanswered goals to down the Pioneers, 11-10.

Sacred Heart did all the scoring in the first quarter as a pair of Drew Edwards goals gave SHU a 3-0 advantage.
Holy Cross answered with four goals of its own, but Max Lionetti was able to find the back of the net with 38 seconds left in the half to make 4-4 at the intermission.
Edwards scored two more goals during a high-scoring third quarter that saw SHU go on a 4-1 run to grab an 8-7 advantage going into the final frame.
Logan Liljeberg's second goal of the fourth quarter made it a 10-8 contest with 8:51 to play. However, SHU would be held scoreless the rest of the way as Peter Murphy scored the game-winner at the 2:36 mark.
Most of the SHU scoring came from three players with Edwards leading all players with four goals. Lionetti recorded his first collegiate hat trick.
