SWEET BRIAR, Va.- The Sacred Heart University equestrian team continued its National Collegiate Equestrian Association meet season this morning as they fell to Sweet Briar 5-2 and Bridgewater 5-3.
 
Score: SHU 2, Sweet Briar 5

• Sweet Briar would take a 2-1 lead after fences as Hanna Lloyd picked up a point for the Pioneers tallying a 76 on Asher.
• Senior Danielle DeRisio scored the highest marks in fences scoring an 80 on Phantom.
• SHU evened the score up at 2-2 in flat with Lilly Bove tallying a high mark on Dance with a 78.5.
• Sweet Briar then scored three more points to walk away with the 5-2 victory.

 
Score: SHU 8, Bridgewater 0

• The Pioneers took a 4-0 lead after fences with DeRisio, Hanna Lloyd, Alyssa Kinney and Lilly Bove each tallying a point.
• Lloyd tallied the highest mark in fences with a score of 81 on Emmett. 
• Bove gave the Pioneers their second point of the meet scoring a 65.5 on Bella in flat.
• DeRisio then scored a 68.5 on Snips in flat. 
• Kinney tallied the highest mark in flat with a score of 69 on Ozzie.
