ORONO, Maine- A pair of late goals by Maine sent the Sacred Heart University men's ice hockey game into overtime leading to a 3-3 draw with the Black Bears on Saturday night.

- Graduate student Dakota Raabe scored his first goal as a Pioneer coming in the second to give SHU a 2-1 lead 14:54 into the period.
- Senior Austin Magera scored the Pioneers opening goal of the game for his second of the year 9:54 in the opening period.
- Junior defenseman Patrick Dawson recorded a pair of assists in the 3-3 draw for his first points of the season.
- Senior Nick Boyagian's third period goal to make the score 3-1 was more important than ever as Maine would come back to even the score at 3-3 with a pair of goals following to send the game into overtime.
- Neither side was able to score in the overtime period as a total of six shots on goal were attempted by both teams.
- SHU closes its six game road swing with a 2-3-1 record which is the same record the Pioneers had in six games back in the 2019-20 season when SHU was nationally ranked for the first time in program history.
