• Senior Todd Goehring cashed his first goal of the season coming 7:42 into the second period to narrow the Boston University lead to 2-1.
• Two of the four Terrier goals were on the power-play while one was shorthanded.
• The Pioneers are still looking for their first power-play goal of the year as they went 0-2 on the man advantage.
• Boston University scored the opening goal coming from Sam Stevens 16:28 into the period while they were short-handed.
• Two unanswered goals following Goehring's was too much for the Pioneers to come back from.
