FAIRFIELD, Conn.- The Sacred Heart University Wrestling team picked up its seventh win of the year and third straight victory with an 18-17 win over Bloomsburg this afternoon. The Pioneers return to action on Sunday, Feb. 16 when the Pioneers host Columbia. Matches begin at 2:00 p.m.

125: Sean Faraon vs. Christian Gannone- Gannone by major decision 11-1: SHU leads 12-7

• Gannone got on the board first with a takedown to take a 2-0 lead with 2:01 remaining in the first round.
• Gannone picked up two more points for a pin to take a 4-0 lead in the second round with 1:25 remaining.
• Gannone picked up four points for another hold and pin to take a 8-0 lead with :56 remaining in the second round.
• Gannone picked up one point in the third round to take a 9-0 lead with :50 remaining.
• Faraon picked up one point for an unsportmanlike call on Bloomsburg to tighten the Gannone lead to 9-1.
• Gannone upped his lead to 10-1 with :10 remaining in the round.

• Allard jumped on the board first with a takedown to take a 2-0 lead before Davis broke away with an escape to tighten the Allard lead to 2-1.
• Allard kicked off the second round with an escape to take a 3-1 lead with 1:34 remaining in the round.
• Davis ended with second round with a takedown to even the score at 3-3 before the start of the third round.
• Davis picked up another two points for a takedown with :31 to give him a 5-3 lead.
• Allard tallied a point later on in the round to tighten the Davis lead to 5-4.
