NEW HAVEN, Conn.- The Sacred Heart University Men's Tennis team fell to Wagner tonight by a final score of 5-2. The Pioneers will return to action on Thursday, April 18 when the Pioneers will compete at the Northeast Conference Championships. Time and seeding is still to be determined.
First year William Wibmber continued his dominate conference play as he picked up his third striaght NEC victory in singles play defeating Anatolly Lashkul 7-5, 7-6 (6). Meanwhile junior Chris Sause picked up a win in singles play defeating Han Ohrner 5-7, 7-6 (6), 10-7. In doubles the duo of junior Seiji Hosokawa and William Wibmer defeated Dale Sandy and Anatolly Lashkul 6-4.
