Men's Basketball Secures Third Seed in NEC Tournament with 94-84 Win Over St. Francis U.

FAIRFIELD, Conn. - The Sacred Heart University men's basketball team extended its win-streak to three games by defeating NEC-foe St. Francis U., 94-84 at home Thursday evening at the Pitt Center. The win improves the Pioneers' record to 15-16 overall and 11-7 in league play, while the Red Flash drop to 16-13 on the year and 12-6 in NEC action.

The win allowed the Pioneers to secure the third seed in the NEC Tournament, giving the Pioneers a postseason home game for the first time since the 2015-16 season.

The Pioneers had six players score in double-figures, with Koreem Ozier's 19 points leading the way. E.J. Anosike tallied 18 points and 10 rebounds for his seventh double-double of the season.
