The loss drops the Pioneers' record to 12-15 overall and 8-6 in league play, while the Blackbirds improve to 12-14 on the year and 6-8 in NEC action.
Four Pioneers scored in double-figures with Koreem Ozier's 23 points leading the way for SHU.
